Brow Lamination
Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, involves the application of pigments into the upper layers of the skin to enhance and define facial features. This technique is commonly used for eyebrows, lips and eyeliner, providing a long-lasting, natural look that reduces the need for daily makeup application.
Each technique has its unique benefits and can be tailored to suit different preferences and skin types. Here is a definition of the eyebrow treatments we offer as semi-permanent makeup:
• Microblading: Best for creating hair-like strokes and a natural look. Not suitable for oily or mature skin.
• Powder Brows: Ideal for a soft, filled-in makeup effect.
• Nano Brows: Offers precise, hair-like strokes for a very natural look. Suitable for all skin types
• Combo Brows: Combines hair like-strokes with shading (powder brows).
With each of them, awesome results can be achieved. A consultation with our expert can help determine the best option for you.
Most procedures require two sessions to get the desired effect:
1. The initial application.
2. A follow-up session 4-6 weeks later for eyebrows and 6-8 weeks for lips to perfect the results.
Lip neutralization would require 3-4 sessions if the lips had a deep hyperpigmentation.
It is recommended to have an annual touch up session to refresh your eyebrows or lips.
The healing process generally involves:
• Day 1-4: Pigment colour appears intense.
• Day 5-10: Treated skin scabs slightly.
• Day 11-15: Treated area goes into the "ghosting period". The pigment appears very light. Don't panic! ❤️
• Day 16: Pigment starts resurfacing in the skin.
• For eyebrows - Week 4-6: Eyebrows fully healed with the final colour.
• For lips - Week 6-8: Lips fully healed.
Proper aftercare, including avoiding makeup, steam, sun exposure on the treated area, is essential during the healing process. Follow your artist's instructions.
